Early on in my college career, I was under the inaccurate impression that I wanted to work in fashion/beauty. Although I certainly still appreciate style, these days, I've found passion elsewhere and tend to channel my recreational energy into enjoying the culinary arts and marveling at my first love, good design. So, how have I only recently discovered The Sporting Project? This "creative agency . . . meets fashion, discovers art, shares food, and livens culture," particularly that between Paris and New York. Nearly three weeks ago, Rachael, Lorelei, and I had the pleasure of experiencing the second in their Paris Pop-Up Dinner Series: a 4-course tasting menu from Hudson Clearwater at Bob's Kitchen. It was such a fabulous evening. And with that, bonne soirée! Be back soon with another round of Marrakech.
oh my lord, those street lamp-lit photos are a DREAM!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think it was three nights after I returned to Paris and I was on cloud 9 the entire evening :)
DeleteLooks like a very fun evening! I heard about The Sporting Project... are the other people at their dinners mostly American, or more international?
ReplyDeleteApparently the first one was very predominately American. The higher price tag, also ensured they were of a particularly status. This time around though, they definitely democratized the price and left a few seats unreserved for walk-ins. At my seating, about half the people were French.
