Good morning beautifuls! Hope you enjoyed the holiday weekend! I had even more of an amazing time in Istanbul than I had expected. It truly is one of the most unique cities I've ever been to and I couldn't have imagined a more ideal time to visit than during their annual Tulip Festival. With the city's countless gardens and parks that makes for about three million blooming flowers and thanks to the fabulous spring weather we enjoyed, I'd say I saw most of them ;). I cannot wait to tell you all about it over the next few days!
I'd like to say that the equally as wonderful sunshine in Strasbourg is keeping me outside and away from my computer... but the truth is, I'm sick. For everything I loved about Turkey, I have to admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of their cuisine, and whatever I ate two days ago is still bothering my stomach. I have been skipping meals like none other! So. unlike. me. Yet the combination of a lack of appetite and the fact most foods have been completely unappetizing is making it inevitable. When I awoke this morning, hungry as can be, I thought I'd gotten over it. Wrong. My tummy didn't even like the yummy toast, jam, and yogurt that I had for breakfast! I'm going to the doctor's today, don't worry :).Not feeling well is no fun, especially when it means that I'm missing out on picnicking in le Jardin de l'Orangerie! I'm not sure exactly what I'm missing but it definitely includes that jar of peanut butter that I stumbled upon at my corner market last week. I need to get better soon! Ha :). I'm hoping that the sun is shining wherever you are, bloggies, and that you're able to enjoy it! See you tomorrow!
